A guide to using the Co-Creation Stage

In 2020, a consortium of arts institutions, universities and tech companies banded together under the Horizons 2020 initiative to form TRACTION – a project aiming to promote co-creation with communities at risk of exclusion. As part of the co-creation process, the Co-Creation Stage was created to connect communities and individuals in real-time, allowing multiple co-located stages and participants to perform together.

Irene implemented the use of the Co-Creation Space during the co-creation of a community opera La gata perduda. Irene explains what the Co-Creation Space is and how it was utilised during the project.

An interview with Bruno Homem from SAMP, a music school in Leiria, Portugal.

Bruno utlisied the Co-Creation Stage during the creation of their new opera O tempo (Somos Nós). This opera was co-created with prisoners and their families.
